Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how TFT Legal Service (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares personal information through gettingjusticenow.com (the “Website”), operated under the name Getting Justice Now. It applies to information collected before you are formally represented by any law firm.
1. Who we are
TFT Legal Service operates Getting Justice Now, an attorney advertising and referral service. We are not a law firm, and we do not provide legal advice. When you ask for a case review, we share your information with one or more participating attorneys or law firms so they can evaluate your request and contact you. If you sign an engagement agreement with a law firm, that firm’s own privacy practices and the attorney-client relationship govern the information you share with it from then on.
2. Information we collect
- Contact details and identifiers you enter, such as your name, phone numbers, email address, street address, city, state, ZIP code, and date of birth.
- Information about your situation that you choose to share, such as whether you are asking for yourself or for a child, the child’s age, how the contact happened, whether a report was filed, and whether you already have a lawyer. Because of the subject of this Website, this can reveal highly sensitive information (for example, that a child may have experienced sexual exploitation or abuse). We use it only to evaluate and respond to your request.
- Consent records, such as the consent text you agreed to, the time you submitted, and a consent certificate generated by our consent-verification provider.
- Device and usage information collected automatically, such as IP address, approximate location derived from your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the page address you submitted from, referring page, and how you interact with the review assistant (including answers you select before you finish).
We do not ask for Social Security numbers, medical records, or government ID on this Website. Please do not send them to us.
3. How we collect it
- From you, when you use the review assistant (“little agent”) on our homepage, or when you email or call us.
- Automatically, through cookies, scripts and similar technologies used by the Website and by the review assistant.
- From service providers that help us verify consent, prevent fraud, and confirm the accuracy of submissions.
4. How we use information
- To respond to your request and connect you with a participating attorney or law firm for a free review.
- To contact you by phone, text message, or email about your request, as you authorize.
- To keep records of your consent and to meet legal and regulatory obligations.
- To detect and prevent spam, fraud, and abuse, and to keep the Website secure.
- To understand how the Website performs and to improve it, using aggregated or de-identified information where possible.
5. How we share information
We share personal information only as described here:
- Participating attorneys and law firms (and their intake teams), so they can evaluate your request and contact you. You direct this disclosure when you submit the evaluation form.
- Service providers that work on our behalf under contract, including the provider that hosts the review assistant and stores submissions (the LeadBot form provider), consent-verification (TrustedForm by ActiveProspect), spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA), IP-based location lookup, website hosting, and email delivery.
- Legal and safety reasons: to comply with law, subpoenas or court orders, to protect rights, safety and property, or to investigate fraud.
- Business transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share the details of your situation with advertisers.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
The Website and the review assistant use cookies, local storage, and scripts to run the assistant, remember your progress, prevent fraud (reCAPTCHA), and record consent (TrustedForm). The assistant’s code may also load advertising-measurement libraries (such as the Meta Pixel library). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; if you do, the review assistant may not work properly.
7. Calls, texts and emails
If you submit your contact details and agree to the consent language shown in the evaluation form, you may receive calls, text messages, and emails about your request, which may use automated technology. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or service. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to any text to opt out, or email [email protected].
8. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above: generally for as long as your request is being evaluated and then for the period needed to keep consent and compliance records and resolve disputes (typically up to five years), unless a longer period is required by law. We then delete, de-identify, or securely archive it.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to: confirm whether we process your personal information and give you a copy; correct inaccurate information; delete your information; and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising. To make a request, email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy request.” We will verify your request using information you previously gave us and respond within the time required by law. You will not be treated differently for exercising your rights. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision.
11. State privacy rights
Residents of certain states (for example Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon and others) may have the rights described in Section 10. We do not sell personal information for money, and we use information about your situation only to respond to your request. Third-party code used by the review assistant may receive device and usage information, which some state laws treat as “sharing” or “targeted advertising.” To opt out, email [email protected] with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share,” or turn on a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser. You or an authorized agent may also submit requests by phone at (786) 795-8205.
12. Children
This Website is intended for adults, including parents and legal guardians who request a review on behalf of a minor and adults who were minors when the events happened. Information about a minor should be submitted by the minor’s parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information without a parent’s or guardian’s involvement, contact us and we will delete it. We treat information about minors with particular care and share it only as described in Section 5.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we will provide a more prominent notice.
